Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible CNC Turret Punch Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to producing high-quality precision parts. This position will involve setting up and operating CNC turret punch presses to fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare CNC turret punch press machines for production runs, including loading and securing sheet metal materials.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and tooling requirements.
• Program CNC controls using appropriate software to specify punching operation, tool paths, and tool changes.
• Load and unload tooling, such as punches and dies, into the turret according to job requirements.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust machine settings as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, completeness, and quality, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records, including job logs, machine settings, and inventory counts.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
