BluePearl Pet Hospital in Overland Park, KS, is hiring an Overnight Patient Care/ICU Veterinary Technician!

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, apply today! This is a full-time position, 3 6:30pm-7am shifts, days to be determined, weekend, on-call, and holiday availability is required.

As a n Patient Care/ ICU Technician, you will:

• Provide Nursing Care for stable to critical patients

• Identifypatients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

• Place IVC's , draw blood from multiple sites, give medications through various routes, etc.

• Watch for patient trends on an hourly basis

• Advocate for your patients needs

• Know medical math

• Workalong sideother skilled technicians and assistants inprovidingexcellent, advanced medicine to your patients

• Havea passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
