Under moderate supervision, participates in planning, analyzing, and supporting the IT infrastructure for a multitenant payments software platform.

This is a hybrid position that requires you to come to the office as needed for meetings/gatherings. The remaining time you may work remotely from home.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide operational system administration support for enterprise applications in a high availability, 24x7x365 environment.

  • Work collaboratively with all departmental or cross-functional teams to understand business and functional requirements, develop automation, requirements, and deliverables.

  • Analyze, install, acquire, modify, and support operating systems or utilities software.

  • Perform troubleshooting, resolution, and problem analysis.

  • Monitor alerting systems and servers.

  • Review issue logs and network capacity reports to identify trends and solutions that should be implemented.

  • Maintain documentation of activities and system configuration.

  • Assist with the preparation of systems assessments or certifications.

  • Assist with network disaster recovery initiatives. Implement solutions to streamline disaster recovery.

  • Develop tools to assist in build automation and ensure, where possible, that an automated approach is taken to all aspects of product builds and management.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 24 months of experience as a systems engineer.

  • Experience in Linux and Windows environments.

  • Application deployment experience.

  • Automation using deployment pipelines.

  • Experience with patching automation tools.

  • Certificate management experience.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Good knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts and principles.

  • General knowledge of company products and services.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.

  • Able to multi-task and resolve issues.

  • Requires the ability to work in complex environments.

  • Understand the need to regard confidential customer and company information.

  • Experience with SCOM, Foreman and Lansweeper.

  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics or DataDog.
